Frequently asked questions

How do I create an account?

Open the app, sign up with your email address, and follow the onboarding steps to add your sports, level, and a few photos. You need to be at least 18 years old to use Traither.

I forgot my password

On the sign-in screen, tap “Forgot password”. We'll send a 6-digit code to your email address. Enter the code in the app and choose a new password. If the email doesn't arrive within a few minutes, check your spam folder.

I'm not receiving emails (confirmation or reset code)

Check your spam or promotions folder and make sure you entered the correct email address. If it still doesn't arrive, write to info@traither.com and we'll help.

How does matching work?

On the Blitz screen you swipe through athletes near you. When two people are interested in each other, you get a match and can start a chat to plan a training session together.

How do I find trainings near me?

Open the Karte (map) tab to see training sessions happening in your area. You can join an existing session or create your own and invite others.

How do I join a community?

Open the Community tab, switch to “Discover”, and search for clubs or communities by name or city. Tap a community to view it and join.

How do I report or block someone?

Open the user's profile or a chat, tap the menu (•••), and choose “Report” or “Block”. We operate a zero-tolerance policy for abusive behaviour and review reports promptly. Blocking immediately stops further contact from that user.

How do I edit my profile?

Go to the Profil tab to update your photos, sports, level, goals, and the “About me” text at any time.

How do I delete my account?

You can delete your account directly in the app: go to Profil → Settings → Delete account. Deleting your account permanently and immediately removes your personal data from our systems (full deletion), except where we are legally required to retain certain data. If you can't access the app, email info@traither.com from your account email address and we will delete your account for you.

Is Traither free?

Traither is free to use. If paid features are introduced in the future, they will be clearly marked before any purchase.

Safety

Traither helps people meet in person to train together. Always meet in public places, tell someone where you're going, and trust your instincts. Only share information and meeting points you're comfortable making visible to others. If something feels wrong, use the report and block tools, and contact local authorities in an emergency.
