Delete Your Account and Data

This page explains how to delete your Traither account and the personal data associated with it.
1. Delete directly in the app (immediate)
The fastest way to delete your account is from within the app:
Open the Traither app and sign in.
Go to Profile → Settings.
Tap Delete account and confirm.
Your account and the associated personal data are then permanently and immediately erased from our systems.
2. Request deletion without the app
If you no longer have access to the app, send a deletion request by email to info@traither.com with the subject “Account deletion”. Please send it from the email address associated with your Traither account so we can verify your identity. We will process your request and delete your data without undue delay, and at the latest within 30 days.
3. What data is deleted
When your account is deleted, all personal data linked to it is permanently removed, in particular:
Account data (email address and authentication credentials)
Profile data (name/username, date of birth, gender, city, bio, profile and gallery photos, sports and training preferences)
Location data (your stored coordinates)
Social and communication data (communities, chats and messages, swipes, friend requests, session join requests)
Push notification token
Device, technical, usage and diagnostic data linked to your account
4. Data that may be retained
Deletion is a permanent, immediate hard delete, except where we are required to retain certain data to comply with legal obligations. Messages you posted in chats and communities may remain visible to other participants in anonymised form (attributed to a deleted user and no longer linked to your identity). Backups are overwritten in the ordinary course of our backup cycle. Analytics and crash data may be retained for a limited period in aggregated or pseudonymised form.
